Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 skinned onions
  • 4 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • ½ cup white wine, or veg broth, or water
  • 2 teaspoon oregano
  • Salt and pepper

Set onions upright in an oiled baking dish. Mix remaining ingredients, pour over onions. Bake covered, at 425° about 45 minutes.
