  • 1 ½ cups ground beef or turkey
  • 1 cup long grain rice
  • 1 32 oz can of tomato juice
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 pepper chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • ½ cabbage shredded

Brown meat with onions, garlic, pepper. In a 9×13 baking dish place a layer of meat mixture. Sprinkle over it a layer of rice, over that a layer of shredded cabbage. Continue layering until all ingredients are used up. Pour the canned juice over all. Over with foil and cook at 350 until done, about 1 ¼ hours.
