We raise highly nutritious completely free range eggs from our chickens which range all over the farm from November through March. Their menu includes certified organic grain and free choice kelp, along with what they can garner from the fields. This results in dark orange yolks and a deep flavor profile.
In the past we have sold eggs from December through May. To be sure of your eggs, get them delivered from December through May you can now join our egg subscription service.
Starting December 2nd we will be offering an egg subscription with deliveries to Athol, Worcester, Holden, Gardner and Shrewsbury. Orders will be delivered to the off site locations twice a month. You can also pick up at the farm in Barre as part of the subscription service. The price is $9/dozen.
Delivery Schedule: Eggs will be delivered to the pick up sites twice a month, either Monday or Friday per the site information below. The first full week and 3rd week of each month will be the delivery weeks. The weeks are as follows: 12/2, 12/16,1/6, 1/20, 2/3, 2/17, 3/3, 3/17, 4/7, 4/21, 5/5, and 5/19.
Delivery Sites and Pickup dates:
Barre – on farm Mondays or Fridays December through the end of May. If these days do not work for you, contact Julie for pick up.
Athol – Mondays in December through May, at a shareholder’s home from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. Location will be provided when you join.
Holden – Mondays in December. From January through May the delivery day might change, but will be announced in advance. The delivery site is the First Baptist Church, located at 1216 Main Street in Holden. Pick-up is available from 4:30pm to 8:00pm.
Worcester – Mondays in December. From January through May the delivery day might change, but will be announced in advance. Pick up at a shareholder’s home near Indian Hill Park from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Location will be provided when you join.
Gardner – Mondays in December through May with select blackout dates, at a shareholder’s home from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Location will be provided when you join. Pick up is not available the following weeks:1/20, 4/7 and 4/21. Pick up on the farm in Barre is available on these dates, if desired.
Shrewsbury – Fridays in December through May with select blackout dates, at a shareholder’s home, located 2 minutes from route 9 and 140 intersection, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Location will be provided when you join. Pick up is not available on the following dates: 2/3, 2/17, 3/3, 3/17. Pick up at a shareholder’s home in Worcester is available, if desired.
